Omega III’s ongoing Fox River Grove Demolition Project showcases our dedication to thorough execution and site management. This project involves the demolition of multiple buildings, both commercial and residential, backfilled and restored back to a green grass space.
Project Highlights:
Comprehensive Demolition
The project involves the demolition of seven commercial buildings, a residential house, and a detached garage. Each structure is being methodically dismantled to maximize the stability of adjacent sidewalks, vaults, curbs, utility structures, and asphalt pavement.
Foundation Management / Earth Retention
Foundation walls along Northwest Highway are being removed down to 6′-0″ from sidewalk grade, while the remaining foundation walls along the highway are retained. This selective removal strategy maximizes the stability of the adjacent structures that will remain.
Backfill & Site Rehabilitation
All other foundation walls and footings are being removed completely, followed by backfilling with clean clay. The site will then be compacted, capped with 4 inches of topsoil, seeded, and blanketed.
Safety and Coordination
Given the project’s proximity to public infrastructure, rigorous safety measures have been strictly followed. Coordination with local authorities ensures that demolition activities do not interfere with public utilities or disrupt the community.
Skilled Workforce
Omega III’s team of highly trained professionals are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to execute every project efficiently and safely.
